ACH

Some of the most common types of electronic payments are processed through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network.

ACH is a deposit option that available only to US citizens. The service transfers the money from your bank account into the online poker room. There is no credit card necessary to use the ACH deposit option. ACH can also be used to fund a Firepay account or a Click2Pay account.

ACH is also known as Direct Bank Transfer or electronic check. ACH will let you use your U.S. based checking or savings bank account to deposit money into your poker account. The main drawback is that you will have to provide the poker room with information about your bank account, such as account number, routing number, names on the account and more.

Some poker sites may also ask you to fax or email them a voided check for confirmation purposes.

After your poker account is set up for ACH you will be able to deposit and withdrawal funds. Please note that An ACH purchase may take 5-7 days before the funds are reflected in your poker account. Some poker rooms will not let you play until the payment is confirmed, while others will let you play but not let you withdraw before confirmation.

Do not misunderstood ACH with Bank Wire which works a little different and involves bank fees to be paid from both parties while the use of ACH usually is free of charge.
