A freeroll tournament is generally a multitable tournament with more than 10 players. Freerolls are tournaments with no entry fee or initial buy-in. Some of the freerolls have entry requirements which must be met before free entry is granted (for example a raked hands requirement, meaning that you would only be able to enter the freeroll if you had fulfilled a predefined amount of raked hands). The penultimate column of the table designated with the Freeroll Requirements icon may contain a entry requirement red square that has a tooltip (move the mouse above the square and a hint will appear) that briefly outlines entry requirements. Freerolls that do not have a red square a called No Requirement Freerolls and are especially suited for new poker players.

The last column Additional information provides additional information about a freeroll that appears as hints for additional information yellow squares.

The Max Players (maximum number of players) and Places Paid (number of places paid) columns will help you decide if it's worth playing. Freerolls with a high number of players usually take longer to complete and the competition is tight. The number of places paid means the number of players that share the prize pool. If the number of top winners in a freeroll is low, you'll get more money. Of course that the best freerolls are the ones that feature a big prize pool, a small number of max. players and a small number of places paid.

You may notice that the dropdown list of the Room column has entries like "- iPoker -", "- Prima Poker -", that are listed first. Actually these are not poker rooms but poker networks. All poker rooms that is part of a network share the same tournaments and freerolls. Instead of listing all the rooms, you see only the network. If a room has it's own special tournaments (that is available only to players registered at that room) it appears in the dropdown list. If selected, the table will display these special tournaments as well as the network ones.
