Poker.com Review

Probably the fastest growing poker site online as well as one of the newest sites is Poker.com. First launched in early 2005, there are already close to 3000 players online at peak hours and this is growing quickly. Poker.com offers a nice software package, but the biggest reasons to join now are the availability of 5,000 in freeroll tournaments every day as well as the softest competition that I have found. Another feature that makes them unique is the availability of instant payouts via Neteller. I have tested this and the payout was in my account in less than a minute. The only downside, if there is one, is that they only offer Texas holdem and Omaha at this time. There are plans to launch other games in the future. Most players only play holdem, so this isn’t a big reason not to try them out.

The software is very user friendly and pleasant to look at. The color scheme is bright and colorful. Once you log onto the lobby there are tabs to choose between regular games and tournaments and then between Texas holdem and Omaha or sit-n-go’s and scheduled tournaments. Available tables can then be sorted by hands per hour, flop percentage, average pot, wait, number of players, blinds and stakes. Once seated at a table, you will find the action buttons located at the bottom of the screen and the amount in the pot is clearly displayed on the table with the amount of all current bets listed beside it. You can keep detailed notes about your opponents as well as assign them a unique identifier tag like shark or fish for quick reference.

Texas holdem is offered in limit from .02/.04 up to 30/60 and in pot limit / no limit from .10/.25 to 25/50. Omaha is spread in limit from .02/.04 to 5/10, in pot limit from .10/.25 to .50/1 and no limit from .10/.25 to 5/10.

Single table tournaments are available 24 hours a day with buy-ins from 1.10 to 525 and multi table tournaments are available with buy-ins from 1.10 to 5.50. However, most of the current tournament action is based around the 5,000 worth of daily freerolls. Consisting of one 3,000, two 500 and five 200 freerolls.

Even if you don’t feel the need to check out the great software you should at least check out the great freerolls and some of the softest games online. Download Poker.com today!

This site has started to get TOO popular. The freerolls fill up quick but they are still so easy to beat. So many fish on the site, due to the domain name I guess, worth every dollar you can deposit.
